An osprey pair at the Lake Defiance nesting platform has been returning to this location for many years. It takes along time to raise osprey kids - about 8 weeks to fledge from the nest, and then another 2 months of being fed by mom and dad. Stop by the new Osprey Meadows Overlook to see these majestic birds, and take in the beautiful scenery! 

 

Park at the Oak Opening lot, and walk up the hill to the Lake Defiance connector trail and turn right to find the overlook with benches, and enjoy the view.
