Wildflower Walks and Insect Safaris!

Watch this space for the 2020 dates, which will be posted in early May.

Wondering about the wildflowers? How about being an adventurer with us on an Insect Safari? Our naturalists will lead you to see what's blooming in the park, and share how people used them not only hundreds of years ago, but even now. If you want to be more adventurous, come to an Insect Safari! we'll lend you a sweep net  to gently capture and observe fascinating insects before releasing them. Look for the green and pink feather flag to meet us!

Let us know if you want to attend by emailing us at dnr.volobog@illinois.gov or call us at the Volo Bog office at 815-344-1294, or just show up!

More dates will be added for 2020; watch this space for other dates for both programs.
