Grant Projects

Our Friend's organization has been very successful in obtaining grants from The McHenry County Community Foundation, starting out with a 13 acre restoration project directly across the road from the park entrance.  Since then we have erected a kiosk next to the McHenry Dam, along with replacing many of the informaton panels in the park. Next came a covered bench on the shores of Lake Defiance.  Many more projects are in the planning stage.
