Corp
The initial meeting of the
Veterans Conservation Corp was held on October 1st, 2011 in the Volo
Bog’s visitor Center led by the Site Naturalist, Stacy Iwanicki and the
Veterans Service Officer, Mike Iwanicki from the McHenry County Veterans
Assistance Commission. Representing Army, Navy, and Air force, veterans
attending our first meeting were Robert Bruce, Steve Domski, Big John Silva,
Gary Larson, Christopher Kwon, and Bob Vetter.
