Membership
The Friends of Moraine Hills State Park is a recently formed organization looking for new members and volunteers to share in the advancement of educational programming, along with the preservation and the restoration of the Moraine Hills State Park. With cut backs in staff and funding to Illinois DNR facilities, the support of the Friends of Moraine Hills State Park is more important than ever.
We have volunteer docents, naturalists, native prairie gardeners, bluebird monitors, etc. Our funds pay for support of our volunteers, educational materials, help in prairie restorations, special projects and events, etc.
Benefits of being a member are many, such as receiving quarterly newsletter & schedules, free admission to membership-only activities, plus the pride in contributing to a good cause.
