Annual Picnic & Meeting 2011
July 9th we held our fourth Annual combined Picnic & Meeting at the Whitetail Prairie. It was a beautiful sunny day, with a light breeze, making it comfortable in the shade. The picnic was free to all members, with the FOMHSP buying the brats & hotdogs, while the board members furnished the buns, chips, condiments dips, drinks, salads, and desserts The morning started at 10:00 a.m. with Moraine Meanders lead by Site Naturalist, Stacy Iwanicki, and the picnic starting at 12 noon. Only fourteen members attended, but it was a fun group. The food was great, and if anyone when away hungry, it was there own fault. Being a fun group, we had games to play, but most of the time was spent in eating & friendly conversation.
