14th Annual Photo
Contest
On Sunday, October 2, The Friends of Moraine Hills State Park and
Department of Natural Resources Program Coordinator Stacy Iwanicki
presented awards in Moraine Hills 14th Annual Nature Photo Contest. 1st,
2nd & 3rd Place Peoples' Choice awards were presented with ribbons. A
1st Place Judges Award was also presented in each of seven categories.
Eleven photographers from Northeastern Illinois entered the contest sponsored
by the FOMHSP. Only two out of eleven photographers showed up for the
presentation, but four of our Board members were there. The Best of Show awards
included a plaque in addition to the ribbons. Best of Show Judges Award
"Here's Looking at You" was also featured on a cake that was served
to those present to cheer the winners.
